About Laurits Husø

From the Norwegian school band tradition Laurits Husø has evolved into a highly acclaimed and cherished tuba player.
He got his bachelor's degree in rhythmic music performance from the University of Agder in 2019 and is now studying jazz and improvisation in Stavanger. His education also includes a year at Toneheim Folkehøgskole in Hamar and an exchange year at Saint Louis College of Music in Rome as a well as one year in the service of His Majesty The King's Guard's Music And Drill Team.
His skills includes performance and composing within jazz, classical, metal, rock, pop, ambient and free improvisation, and he truly shows that diversity is the key to success.
